I acknowledge that activities at the Workshop I'm enrolling in may be HAZARDOUS, AND THAT I COULD BE SERIOUSLY INJURED OR EVEN KILLED. I AM VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THESE ACTIVITIES WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE DANGER INVOLVED, AND AGREE TO ASSUME ANY AND ALL RISKS OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, WHETHER THOSE RISKS ARE KNOWN OR UNKNOWN. As consideration for being permitted by Shovel & Fork Incorporated to participate in these activities at the Workshop, I forever release Shovel & Fork Incorporated, any affiliated organization, and their respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, and representatives (collectively “Releasees”) from any and all actions, claims, or demands that I, my assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives now have, or may have in the future, for injury, death, or property damage, related to (i) my participation in these activities, (ii) the negligence or other acts, whether directly connected to these activities or not, and however caused, by any Releasee, or (iii) the condition of the premises where these activities occur, whether or not I am then participating in the activities. I also agree that I, my assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue, or attach the property of any Releasee in connection with any of the matters covered by the foregoing release.
I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT BETWEEN MYSELF AND SHOVEL & FORK INCORPORATED, AND THAT BY PROCEEDING WITH PAYMENT WILL DEEM ME HAVING CONSENTED TO THIS CONTRACT.
I am also consenting to appearing in any video or photo that might be taken at the Workshop, and release any and all rights to that media to Shovel & Fork Incorporated."
Reaching further abroad with our classes means that Shovel & Fork will have a greater impact on the local farmers, businesses and hard working folks like yourselves in our communities. The people who support us rely on the commitments we make for livestock, produce and equipment. To avoid disappointing anyone, yourself included, we are implementing a fair cancellation policy to ensure that we can fulfil our obligations to our team members and partnering farmers. All classes carry a non-refundable deposit. The deposit will be used to offset food cost, materials cost, instructor wages etc. We appreciate your understanding, as we feel this is the most fair way of supporting everyone in our supply network, all of whom we consider friends.
A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is applied to all seats. Cancellations made 7 calendar days prior to the class start date will be refunded the difference, and no refund will be offered for a cancellation made after that time.
On all classes priced at $150.00 or more, a non-refundable deposit of $100.o0 is applied. Cancellations made 7 calendar days prior to the class start date will be refunded the difference, and no refund will be offered for a cancellation made after that time.
All class seats are transferable. This means that if you can find someone to assume your seat, you need not loose the deposit. Its up to you to find your replacement, negotiate the terms of assuming the seat, and have them contact us before the class start date.
If Shovel & Fork cancels a class for any reason we will refund your payment in full.
In the event a class has to be postponed due to an extenuating circumstance (i.e. bad weather), a new date will be decided upon and your payment will be transferred to that date.
